What makes this Magic card scanner different

Bulk scan

Scan a whole stack of cards in one go. The value calculator totals everything instantly and you can export the list to CSV or a deck file.

Language detection

Non-English printings are recognised automatically and the matching localized name, set and artwork are shown alongside the English card data.

Foil detection

The scanner spots the rainbow shift and holographic stamp that only foil printings have, then prices the foil version separately from the non-foil one.

Completely free

Scanning, price lookups and the collection value calculator are free. No subscription is required to identify and value your cards.

Frequently asked questions

How do I scan a Magic: The Gathering card?

Open the scanner, point your phone camera at the card and hold it inside the frame. Magic Mark finds the card edges, captures automatically and returns the name, set, rarity, rules text and current market price. You can also upload photos instead of using the camera.

Can I scan a whole stack of cards at once?

Yes. Bulk mode handles an unlimited number of cards in one go, either as a continuous camera scan or as uploaded photos. Duplicates from the same card are ignored, and the value calculator totals the whole stack for you.

Does the scanner recognise foils?

It does. The scanner looks for the rainbow colour shift and holographic stamp that only foil printings have, checks that the printing actually exists in foil, and prices the foil version separately from the non-foil one.

Does it work with non-English cards?

Yes. Japanese, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Russian, Chinese and many other printings are detected, and the matching localized artwork and printed name are shown alongside the English card data.

Is the Magic card scanner free?

Yes, the scanner is completely free to use. Scanning, price lookups and the collection value calculator cost nothing. Signing in is optional and only used to sync your binders across devices.
